2021 Samsung Newest Phone Galaxy A72
The Galaxy Samsung A72 may not be as high-end and spectacular as the Samsung Galaxy S21, but it is more cheaper and has many different features.
These include the 90 Hz FHD+ screen and a large battery, and water resistance – so you still get very high-quality features, which might be nice to use if you want a powerful but not exactly up-to-date phone.

Design and display
The Samsung Galaxy A72 has a plastic rear, which is to be anticipated considering that even the much more costly Samsung Galaxy S21 has one.
It comes in Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Blue, and it has an IP67 rating, which means it is dust and water resistant (the latter to depths of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes).
It measures 165 x 77.4 x 8.4mm and weighs 203g, with a big camera block in the top left corner of the back and a punch-hole selfie camera in the top center of the screen.
The screen is a flat 6.7-inch 1080 x 2400 Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, approximately 394 pixels per inch, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a maximum brightness of 800 nits.
So, on paper, it has quite decent specifications. It has the same resolution as the Galaxy S21 and is larger, however it has a lower refresh rate and maximum brightness.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 has a quad-lens rear camera that includes a 64MP f/1.8 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera (with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and 30x digital zoom), a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera (with a 123-degree field of view), and a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera.
It also includes a front-facing 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera and can capture 4K video at 30fps (or 1080p video at up to 60fps).
The battery, meanwhile, has a capacity of 5,000mAh and can be charged at a rate of 25W.Moreover that’s a good size, but there’s no wireless charging, so it’s worthwhile in this price range. The phone does, however, come with a charger, however the Galaxy S21 series does not. As a result, we may compare them
Specs and features
The Snapdragon 720G chipset powers the Samsung Galaxy A72. That’s mid-range, but it’s not 5G enabled, thus this is only a 4G phone but not 5G.
This is then paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage (hence only the 6GB / 128GB variant is available in the UK at the time of writing).
There is an in-screen fingerprint reader, also dual speakers (with Dolby Atmos), a microSD card slot (supporting up to 1TB), and a Game Booster mode, which Specifically optimizes battery, temperature, and memory consumption while gaming. The Galaxy A72 also runs Android 11, also Samsung’s One UI 3.1 on top. However in 2021 samsung one UI is still popular.
